- Monitoring patient comfort and repositioning those who are bed-ridden to prevent pressure sores.
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised environment in wards and patient rooms.
- Engaging with patients, offering emotional support and reassurance to them and their families.
- Accurately taking and recording vital signs such as temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
You may also support clinical staff by:
- Sterilising medical equipment.
- Restocking consulting rooms and managing supplies.
- Processing lab samples and collecting blood samples.
- Assisting in health promotion and education initiatives.
